| Hotel Description: - velavaru opened in december 1998 is an averaged sized island by maldivian standards and is approximately 500m in length by 200 m wide is the second resort in the atoll. the buildings on velavaru blend in with the thick local vegetation and coconut palms creating the relaxed environment of the maldives. tourism is very new to the atoll providing you with an excellent opportunity to dive at breathtaking sites where the human disturbance is almost negligible. the diving at velavaru is an exciting experience. velavaru with its wide sandy beach bordered by the shimmering turquoise lagoon is the tropical island just for you. the rates are in usd and applicable to single/double occupancy a surcharge of usd95 per day -adult- / usd50 per day -child below 12 years- will apply for an additional person sharing a bungalow. an additional rollaway bed will be provided for the additional person. the rates are inclusive of meals - breakfast lunch and dinner at the hathaa restaurant -beverage not included- peak season surcharge - usd35 per night/bungalow from 20th dec - 14 january -all dates inclusive- and each reservation is subject to 7 consecutive nights. this same surcharge will also be applicable to an additional person sharing a bungalow all rates quoted are subject to 10 pct service charge and maldivian bed tax at usd6.00 per person. seaplane transfers - from male airport to velavaru and return- will be chargeable at usd255 per person and effective 22nd dec - 31 march at usd280 per person. - 84 rooms - 0 levels Amenities:
