| Directions -akl- auckland international airport 330 km south -kke- kerikeri airport 23 km west Directions to kauri cliffs from auckland 1. take state highway 1 from auckland to whangerei -approx 2 hrs 2. continue on state highway 1 past whangarei turning left into kawakawa township -approx 50 minutes- 3. passing through kawakawa township for approximately 15 minutes until you see the signpost for kerikeri at pakaraka junction. 4. turning past the school you continue on state highway 10 until you reach the matauri bay turnoff- which is signposted matauri bay turnoff 400 meters -which will be on your right and will take approximately 40 minutes- Continue along matauri bay road until you see the kauri cliffs Signpost on your right -approximately 10 minutes- staying on the Left hand side of the gravel road until you reach the lodge. . Directions from kerikeri airport Approximately 30 minutes from kerikeri airport 1. turn left as you exit the airport 2. when you reach the crossroads turn left onto state highway 10. you will be travelling north. 3. stay on highway 10 for approximately 20 minutes. turn right onto matauri bay road. 4. follow matauri bay road until you see the sign for -kauri cliffs- Turn right onto tepene tablelands road which leads to the lodge |
