| Directions Direction to the property from airport jnu - 8 minutes to to pearsons pond. circle around the parking lot entirely, so that you pass the aspen hotel across the parking lot on your right. turn right at the corner at the far end of the hotel onto shell simmons drive. go about 0.5 block to the stop sign and turn left onto glacier highway. stay on this road nearly 3 miles. it will cross over egan drive and become mendenhall loop road heading toward the mendenhall glacier. in about 2 miles, you will see a large sign on your right with directions to continue straight for the glacier and turn left to continue to the auke bay and mendenhall loop road. there is no stop sign or light and this is not the mendenhall boulevard light then turn left to continue on mendenhall loop road.in another mile, you will cross over the mendenhall river and willturn left just past the river onto river road, go a long block, then right on kelly court, then a short block and left on sawa. circle and into first driveway on left. the roads are dark, though the inn is well lit and marked. Direction to the property from south - north on hwy 7 or northeast on glacier hwy, east on mendenhall loop 2 miles, north on mendenhall loop 1 mile, west on river rd. 1 block, north on kelly ct. 1 block, west on sawa circle to 4541, first driveway on the left. |
