This hotel is in a prime location in the centre of Amsterdam and suitable for those who are looking to be close to the red light district and China town, one of the busier areas of Amsterdam. However, it is located on a small side street opposite a canal and so is quieter than most of the streets in the area. jg/05/2007 Exterior: This is a traditional building in keeping with the buildings in the area and are typical Dutch style. Lobby: The lobby is medium-sized and was also renovated in 2006. It now benefits from a trendy feel, with brown carpeting, gold velour seating and modern lighting. There are also futuristic stools and tables offering an updated and vastly improved atmosphere. The lobby is split level and there are steps up to the reception area which may not be ideal for people with walking difficulties.

Room Information : The bedrooms are small and basic though recently refurbished with wood floors and wood furniture. They are in good condition as are the bathrooms and all have individual air conditioning. Cancellations made between 3 months and 1 week of arrival forfeit $25. Cancellations between 1 week and 72 hours of arrival forfeit $50.
