Location: This hotel is situated right at the gateway to Rattanakosin Island. The famous Golden Pagoda at Wat Saket and the temple itself can be viewed from some of the rooms. Khaosan Road is within a 15-minute walk. It is next to Ratchadamnown Avenue. One can commute by car, about 15-20 minutes, to all major temples (Emerald Temple, the reclining Buddha of Wat Po, the gold Buddha of Wat Trai Mitr, etc.), the governmental offices and departments, Sanam Luang, Government House, Grand Palace, TAT office, Hua Lampong Train Station, Southern Route Bus Terminal, the National Museum and Gallery and Phra Sumane Fortress. It is about 20-30 minutes by car to many major shopping complexes (Bang Lampoo, MBK, Siam Center, Discovery Center, Chinatown and the Old Siam). To be adventurous, one can on board the boat at Phan Fa Pier, about 1-2 minutes??? walk from the hotel, and off board at Pratunam Pier, walk about 10-15 minutes, then take the Sky Train near Central World Plaza or MBK to Chatuchak (about a 15 minute trip), or transfer to boat and off board at Asoke Pier and walk about 15 metres to the underground train to Sirikit Convention Center or even go to Ratchdapisek area.
